Meet John Quarisa
John Quarisa is an acclaimed Australian winemaker and wine show judge with more than 30 years of experience. Before establishing Quarisa Wines, he worked with some of Australia’s best known wine companies and received major industry recognition, including the Jimmy Watson Trophy and Stodart Trophy. His winemaking style is down to earth, full of character and focused on wines that deliver flavour, quality and value.
The vineyard and region
Quarisa Wines is connected to Tharbogang near Griffith in New South Wales, with fruit sourced from established regions across New South Wales and South Australia. This flexible approach allows the family to craft a wide range of Australian styles while keeping the wines approachable, expressive and true to the relaxed Quarisa spirit.
